Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro charge 100% in 8 minutes
Xiaomi is known not only for producing cool smartphones at an affordable price, but also for its successes in the field of high-speed charging. Recently, the Chinese have set another record by presenting a new development called HyperCharge . It is dual reactive charging, delivering 200W on wire and 120W on Qi wireless technology. Its total power is an impressive 320 W – nothing like it on the market before.
To demonstrate the capabilities of HyperCharge, a special version of the flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro has been released. The device with a 4000 mAh battery charged over the wire from 0 to 100% in a phenomenal 8 minutes . Moreover, after 44 seconds, the battery gained the first 10%, and after three minutes the battery charge was at around 50%.
Wireless charging proved to be equally impressive, taking only 15 minutes to fully charge the Mi 11 Pro.
Despite the fact that HyperCharge technology is already implemented in a fully functional device, we are unlikely to see it in production smartphones in the coming months.
Chinese insiders claim that the first such gadget will be released towards the end of 2021 – it will probably be the flagship Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro / Ultra, or the expected Mi Mix 4.
Among Xiaomi smartphones that are already on the free market, the Mi 10 Ultra has the fastest charging. It supports 120W and charges from 0% to 100% over the wire in 23 minutes, while wireless 50W recharges its battery in 40 minutes. The price of Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra starts on Ali from N390,000 , in Nigeria this model has never been officially sold.
